McDowell County Emergency Services CPR Training
Bystander CPR plays a vital role in saving lives during emergencies like sudden cardiac arrest. This condition is a leading cause of death in the United States, with a significant number of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases resulting in fatalities. However, prompt bystander CPR can greatly improve survival rates, potentially doubling or even tripling a person's chances of surviving such a critical event. This emphasizes the immense importance of bystander CPR training and readiness in communities, empowering ordinary individuals to become lifesavers in moments of crisis.
During our session, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of hands-only CPR and how to use an AED on an adult. It's important to note that this class does not offer certification from organizations like the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Our objective is to equip you with the skills to follow guidance from a medically trained telecommunicatordispatcher when calling 911 in McDowell County. This class is open to individuals aged 12 and above. If you have any inquiries, please fill out the form below!
