911 Addressing
Apply for a New Address With McDowell County Emergency Services
To apply for a new address you can apply online or call the Addressing office. Please email the Addressing Coordinator or call 828-652-3241 for assistance. Most addressing issues can be resolved via email or phone.
New 911 addresses are needed prior to requesting permits for any new construction.
County Road Signs
McDowell County EM is the county department responsible for installing and replacing green road signs. If you come across a stolen or damaged road sign, please let us know.
